I Didn’t Just Wake Up | I Had to Dig Myself Out


I didn’t get here by accident.
This work-from-home life I’m living the peace I’ve created it didn’t just appear.

I had to un-bury myself from years of trauma, labels, conditioning, and emotional survival.
I wasn’t broken. I wasn’t lazy. I wasn’t crazy.
I was buried alive under expectations, under childhood wounds, and under a world that never tried to understand me.

Now, after years of feeling invisible, misunderstood, and held back by un-diagnosed ADHD, self-diagnosed ASD, and PTSD from childhood trauma, I’ve created a life of freedom a life where I work from home, serve others, and finally feel like me.

I wasn’t even 14 when they labeled me an alcoholic.
No one asked why I was numbing they just judged the behavior.
No one noticed the signs of anxiety, over-stimulation, depression, or internal chaos.
I wasn’t guided, I was silenced.
I wasn’t nurtured, I was disciplined.

I was:

  • The black sheep of the family

  • The one who didn’t “fit”

  • The emotional one

  • The one always “overreacting”

  • The “problem child”

And yet, all I really needed was for someone to say:
“I see you. I hear you. You’re not crazy you’re carrying unspoken pain.”

When nothing else worked not therapy, not relationships, not running I turned inward.

Spirituality became my compass.
Journaling became my therapist.
Affirmations became my medicine.
And silence became sacred.

I wasn’t broken I was disconnected.
Disconnected from self. From truth. From spirit.
Through rituals, grounding practices, oracle readings, and divine alignment, I started spiritual self-repair.

I had to unlearn decades of survival mode.

Every time my mind told me:

  • “You’re not smart enough.”

  • “You’ll never get it right.”

  • “You always mess things up.”

I rewired that voice with truth:

  • “I am wise and intuitive.”

  • “I deserve to thrive.”

  • “I don’t have to prove anything just be.”

I studied neurodivergent-friendly routines, practiced nervous system regulation, and trained myself to take daily aligned action even when I didn’t feel “ready.”

Working from home saved me.

I couldn't go back to a traditional job:

  • I have no driver’s license

  • I need to supervise my son full-time

  • I live with PTSD, anxiety, and sensory challenges

  • And honestly, I just knew I wasn’t created to build someone else’s dream while sacrificing mine

I started creating multiple streams of income from home through aligned digital work, affiliate marketing, content creation, and spiritual services.

I took messy action. I invested in learning. I showed up even when no one clapped.
Now, I no longer hope to work from home, I manifested it. And I live it.

Closing Reflection

I’ve been called a lot of things in my life.
But today, I call myself whole.
I am healed. I am healing. I am human.
And I am building a life my younger self wouldn’t believe because I finally stopped believing the lie that I couldn’t.

This life isn’t a wish.
It’s a manifestation, built from action, alignment, and choosing me every day.

And if I can do it, so can you.
